BBC Radio 4 is a public radio station which broadcasts speech with information. It includes many speeches including drama, comedy, readings, factual and magazines programmes. BBC Radio 4 has been on air since 30 September 1967, which means it's been on air for over 57 years. The owner of BBC radio 4 is BBC itself since it's a public service. BBC radio 4 is funded by TV licences since it's on television, radio and online services.

- Age - 55 years and older. This is because BBC radio 4 mainly has content for the older generation for an example news, current affairs, drama and cultural programming.
- Gender - Male and Female (for all genders). This is because there is something for everyone, there is a whole hour dedicated for woman and it's called woman hour. (talks about woman issues they face in the world) and for males they have content dedicated to them shipping forecast. Since majority of males go do sailing.

- Religion - Orthodox Christians this is because on BBC radio 4 they have a prayer of the day which has prayers from the bible.
- Ethnicity - White people this is because majority of the presenters have a British accent and is very posh. Each of the photos of each presenter is white.

There is plenty of different lifestyles of the people who listen to BBC radio 4. BBC radio 4 has something for everyone. A posh audience who owns a boat has something just for them. One example the programme shipping forecast is for people who are going to go sail on a boat before that they need to make sure everything is safe for that. The wind is right for them otherwise it could be extremely dangerous. This is something the audience who owns a boat would add to their lifestyle. Before sailing they'd listen to it.
